Pallets are taken off the vehicle at the inbound point by forklift operators who are informed via the app where the goods are to be held in the cross-dock area. This location is bound by pre-set rules decided by the haulier.
The transport team can see which pallets are ready to be planned for delivery.
When it’s time for the pallets to be delivered, the app will show where they should be relocated to (the outbound area).
Throughout the process the pallets will be tracked in the TMS, so you always know where they are held.
